Need a piece of Jade cut, polished or appraised? If you are near the Mendocino coast, contact us. We can handle about a 15-inch cut. We can try to lap polish any piece we can cut, but we won't guarantee that your material will polish, as every stone is unique. I take all aspects of the jade and current market conditions into consideration when giving your jade a value. I have done this for insurance, estate and sales purposes. I have actively sold jades for 8 years now and have a very good idea of what value to set on a stone to actually sell it. I charge $90/hour for my services. The more extensive your appraisal requirements, the longer it will take to complete the appraisal. Generally a verbal evaluation can be done for the minimum one hour @ $90 charge.
